• Ezemma and McCormick Earn Spots on All-WACBA Team

    WORCESTER, Mass. – Clark University junior women's basketball player Ogechi Ezemma (Hope Valley, R.I.) and junior men's basketball player Luca McCormick (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) earned spots on the Worcester Area College Basketball Association (WACBA) women's and men's Second Team. Ezemma, who was named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-Conference Second Team, finished the season averaging 12.9 points per game while totalling 297 points and 176 rebounds. McCormick led the men's basketball team with 390 points and 159 rebounds.

    Worcester, Mass.—Pat Oroszko ’03 Day is a day that has become a tradition for the Clark University community. In June of 2016 former Clark University men’s basketball player and assistant coach, Oroszko, passed away after a valiant battle with esophageal cancer. The day has been celebrated since December of 2016 in remembrance of the wonderful spirit he brought to the men's basketball program, the athletic department, and the entire Clark University community.

    -The Lead: The Clark University men's basketball team concluded their 2017-18 season with a hard fought 75-70 loss to the Lyons of Wheaton College in NEWMAC action on Saturday afternoon. Lacking a smooth shooting stroke early, the Cougars fell behind by as much as twenty in the first half, and found themselves down twelve at half, before battling back to tie the game at 58 with seven minutes left. The Lyons were able to hold their own down the stretch to claim the win, and the #5 seed in the upcoming NEWMAC Men’s Basketball Tournament.

Pisacreta had an outstanding game, posting a game high 20 points to lead the Cougars to victory.

The triple-double is the second of Jomard’s career and just the third in program history.
