Boston, Mass. – Clark University standout attack Will Mandracchia (Melrose, Mass.) has been named New England Women's And Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Second-Team All-Conference it was announced on Tuesday afternoon by the league office.
Mandracchia saw action in 17 of the 18 games this season as the Cougars set a school record with 13 wins and advanced to the conference title game for the first time in school history. Overall, he led the team in scoring with a career-best 52 points, while finishing second on the team in goals scored (34) and assists (18).
He earned two NEWMAC Player of the Week awards as part of his stellar junior campaign and extended his point scored streak to 22 straight games. In 2017 he had 12 games with two goals or more, including six with three or more. Mandracchia pumped in a season-best four goals in the win at Wheaton and then had three straight games – MIT, Massachusetts Maritime and Babson – where he scored three goals.
With one season left to play, Mandracchia already ranks eighth in goals scored (78), eighth in assists (41) and tenth in points (119) in school history.
