Boston, Mass. – Sophomores Benjamin Forman (Glenside, Pa.) and Isaac Stone (Natick Mass.) was named to the New England Women's And Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) men's cross country Academic All-Conference team it was announced recently by Executive Director Patrick Summers.
Stone, an undeclared concentrator, has a 3.76 overall grade point average and is coming off of a spring 2016 semester in which he posted a 4.0 GPA.
Forman, meanwhile, also is an undeclared concentrator, has registered a 3.66 overall GPA.
Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2016 spring semester, achieved second year academic status at her institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.
Stone has run in all six races so far this year and has a season-best time of 30:55 over an 8K course, while Forman set a personal best at the Earley Invitational earlier this season with a time of 31:19.
The Clark men's cross country team is back in action on Saturday when they take part in the NEWMAC Championships at Smith College.
