Worcester, Mass. - The Clark University men's
and women's rowing teams kicked off their 2010 spring season on
Saturday and the Men's Second Novice Four claimed a first place
finish to highlight the morning's events on Quinsigamond River.
The Second Novice Four turned in a time of 8:29.4, a little more than five seconds ahead of Amherst at 8:34.6.
The women's varsity four, meanwhile, turned in a third place performance with a time of 8:38.5, a little more than a second behind second place WPI.
The men's second varsity four had a second place finish, nearly four seconds behind Amherst.
Both rowing teams return to the water on Sunday when they host the University of Rochester.
