Worcester, Mass.-- Lauren Neilan joins the Clark University athletic department as the Sports Information Director as announced by Associate Athletic Director Joe Brady.
In her role as the Sports Information Director Neilan will provide maximum visibility for Clark's 17 Division III athletic programs.
"We are very excited to welcome Lauren to Clark as our Sports Information Director. She brings a wealth of new knowledge in the field of collegiate athletic communications. Our staff along with the student-athletes look forward to working with her," said Brady.
Neilan comes to Clark from Anna Maria College where she spent two years in the Sports Information office. She spent her first year serving as a graduate assistant before being promoted to the Sports Information Director role.
Neilan was responsible for promoting Anna Maria's 13 Division III programs. Her primary responsibilities included coordinating all phases of the sports information office, media relations, managing the athletic website and all social media accounts, and home contest management.
"I am thrilled to join the Clark University athletic department. I look forward to working with an extremely talented group of administrators, coaches and student-athletes," said Neilan.
While at Anna Maria, Neilan completed her Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in marketing.
Neilan is a 2015 graduate of Assumption College where she was a four-year member of the Greyhounds field hockey team.
A native of Mendon, Mass., Neilan completed her Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus in writing and mass communication at Assumption. She also minored in marketing.
