"We are excited that Katlin has agreed to be the interim head field hockey coach," said Cronin. "Her many years of experience both as a player and as an assistant coach at Clark made the decision to go with an interim a simple one.  We look forward to what Kaitlin will bring to the program in the coming weeks".

During her time as a player, Kelley ranked in the top ten in all goalkeeper categories in Clark history, including second in career saves (710). She was named to the NEWMAC All-Conference First Team in 2005 and 2006 as well as the All-Region First Team in 2006 and Second Team in 2005. In her junior season (2005) she backstopped Clark to a 13-7 overall record and berths in a conference semifinal and the ECAC Tournament semifinals. Hazel Hughes Award, given annually to a senior or graduate female who has made a significant contribution to the intercollegiate athletic program and whose dedication and performance have enriched the tradition of Clark University.

"I am truly excited and honored for the opportunity to lead the Clark Field Hockey team this fall," Kelley said. "I feel grateful to have learned from both Linda Wage and Callie Lekas in my time as an assistant with the program.  I look forward to a very competitive season with a talented and dedicated group of young women".  In her previous eleven years on the sidelines, the Scarlet and White have advanced to the NEWMAC Tournament four separate times (2007, 2009, 2010, 2012).
