Westwood, Mass.--Clark University men's basketball junior captain, Brendan Kittredge (Clinton, Mass.) has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Co-Defensive Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. Kittredge was joined by Babson's, Andrew Jawkorski (Tolland, Conn.) in receiving the Defensive Athlete of the Week title.
Kittredge posted 27 rebounds in a 1-2 week for Clark including a team leading 12 defensive rebounds on the week. He added 43 points while posting two double-doubles. His first double-double came in Clark's 112-96 victory at Newbury when he put up 16 points and 11 rebounds and the second came in their 81-65 setback to Lehman with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Kittredge currently leads the Cougars in rebounding with 37.
Clark is back in action on Tuesday, November 20th when they travel to Paxton, Mass. to take on the Anna Maria College AMCATS at 4:00 p.m.
