-Clark University was able to hold off Trinity College, winning 3-2 on the road. Clark handed the hosts its first loss of the season, despite a balanced offensive attack from both squads.

-Clark got on the board first, needing less than 10 minutes to take the lead. Senior Charlie Lane (Southborough, Mass.) made a run through the box, and with a beautiful feed from sophomore Andrew Pimental (Coventry, R.I.), slipped it past Trinity keeper Anes Gadun (Morgan, Conn.) to make it 1-0.

-Trinity evened the score less than two minutes later. Senior Henry Farr flashed through the far side of the 18-yard box after junior Dagoberto Nunez Jr. (Central Falls, R.I.) beat a defender and turned the corner; the low cross was met with Farr's right foot, and the one-timer matched the score at one goal apiece.

-Clark responded with just over 10 minutes left in the first half. Charlie Lane netted his second of the game, giving the Cougars a 2-1 advantage through the opening 45 minutes. This would be Lane's second goal of the season, netting both in today's match.

-The second half started similar to the first, with a goal in the opening five minutes. The hosts were able to level the score on Nunez Jr.'s first goal of the season. Junior Nigel Gustave (Baltimore, Md.) lined up alongside Nunez on a set piece from 20 yards out. Instead of taking the shot, Gustave rolled the ball to Nunez, who hit one through the wall and into the net to level the score.

-Clark responded once more in the 58th minute. On a deep throw from senior Trevor Sheridan (Massapequa Park, N.Y.), senior Sean Munrow (Silver Spring, Md.) possessed the ball outside Trinity's 18, and was able to turn and fire a shot past second half keeper Andrew Clark (Short Hills, N.J.) to retake the lead and ultimately earn the victory. This is Munroe's second goal of the season and Sheridan's second assist of the season.

-The Cougars outshot the Bantams by a margin of 14-9 including a 9-5 advantage in the first half. Clark fell in corner attempts 8-3, but both teams ended the game with 12 fouls.

- The Cougars will return to action tomorrow when they lost Roger Williams at Granger Field. Kickoff is at 1 PM. The Bantams are back at home on Tuesday when they host Eastern Conn. St. Kickoff is at 7 PM.
