Men's Swimming and Diving Drops to Babson

Worcester, Mass.—The Clark University Men's Swimming and Diving team fell to the visiting Beavers of Babson College on Saturday afternoon at the Kneller Center pool (133-90).

The Cougars took the top place in the men's 200 yard IM. Junior Dylan Schrama (Taunton, Mass.) earned first place with a season best time of 2:09.86.

Senior Steven Castiglione (North Haven, Conn.) was awarded first place in the men's 1 meter dive scoring 232.85 but the Beavers still held a 63-42 advantage in the meet. Castiglione also took first place in the 3 meter dive (213.10).

Clark claimed the top two spots in the 200 yard breaststroke as freshman Konstantin Drallios (Queens, N.Y.) touched the wall first in 2:20.96. Junior Bill Holloman (Avon, Conn.) finished right behind him in a season best 2:23.13 for second place.


"Once again the men fought hard and brought the passion.  They battled in every race and the divers showed some great improvement for this time of year. Some solid times for this point in the season for several of the guys.  Very proud of the men and how they competed today."
