MXC: Cougars Wrap Up Season at NCAA Div. III Regionals

BRUNSWICK, Maine. – The Clark University men's cross country team competed at the NCAA Division III New England Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon with the Cougars finishing 48th amongst the field of 54 teams competing on the 8k layout on the campus of Bowdoin College.

Sophomore Ryan Ewanyk (East Northport, N.Y.) paced the Cougars with a 244th place finish out of 384 participants, posting a time of 28:53.88. Isaiah Chamberlain (Castleton, Vt.) trailed his teammate with a 278th place performance, tripping the timer at 29:37.33.

Junior captain Bobby Sharma (Kobe, Hyogo) wrapped up the race with a time of 30:22.16 while co-captain Ben Ryan (Amherst, Mass.) and sophomore Cameron Keenan (South Glastonbury, Conn.) were close throughout the day with respective times of 31:46.29 and 31:52.63.

Junior Guillermo Figuereo Galera and first-year William Mahan (Brookfield, Conn.) rounded out the Cougars runner, finishing the season with respective times of 32:22.75 and 32:36.76.
