    WORCESTER, Ma.- After a disappointing end to a strong start, Clark Women’s Soccer ended their 2018 season with a record of 9-7-1 and a conference record of 4-6. Although four wins was enough finish in 6th place in the conference, it also resulted in a three-way tie with Babson and Wheaton. Clark was ultimately eliminated from post-season play on a tiebreaker.  Clark returns this fall eager to prove that they belong at the top of the table in the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC).

Clark University senior defender and captain, Macy Golman (Dallas, Texas) earned a spot on the NEWMAC All-Conference Second Team following her outstanding season. MIT earned three major awards, while Springfield garnered one.

    The Clark University women’s soccer team dropped in New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action on Saturday afternoon. Junior Claire Hurley (Waterford, Conn.) scored a pair of second half goals to lift Coast Guard to the 2-0 shutout as they secured a berth in the conference tournament for the first time since 2014. The Bears, playing their final regular season home game of the season, wore pink warm up shirts and pink socks to help raise awareness for breast cancer.
