Cougars Defeated on Senior Day by Emerson

Worcester, Mass.--In their last home match in their Clark University jerseys, the seniors played their hearts out and left it all on the court today. Unfortunately, the positive energy at Corash Courts wasn't enough for the Cougars to get the win. The Women's Tennis team was defeated by Emerson this afternoon, 9-0.

-Anna Gates (North Scituate, RI) and Elizabeth Garfield (Cape Elizabeth, ME) competed well in the No. 1 doubles match but fell in a close one, 8-6.

-Jillian Skulsky (Marshfield, MA) and Kathryn Benson (Hudson, MA) represented the Cougars in the No. 2 match. They fell to their opponents, 8-1.

-Chloe Dunnell (Montclair, NJ) and her partner Lily Meadows (Bradenton, FL) lost in their No. 3 match 8-2 this afternoon.

-Skulsky fell in straight sets in the No. 1 singles match, 6-0 and 6-1.
