Worcester, Mass.- Coach Cahoon and Clark Athletics are pleased to announce that Sophia Torino (Los Angeles, Calif.) and Caitlyn Kim (Cohoes, NY) have been named as team captains for the 2019 volleyball season.
WORCESTER, Ma. – Fresh off a long road trip, the Clark Volleyball team hosted their home opener against the Keene State Owls on Wednesday. Though Clark gave a valiant effort, the Owls defeated the Cougars in straight sets.
SALISBURY, Md. – The Cougars concluded play in the Sea Gull Classic Saturday and split their two matches for the day, falling in straight sets to Salisbury, before bouncing back with a strong 3-1 win over the Thiel Tomcats.
Clark University senior captains, Ana Patricia Mercado (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) and Rayme Quiban (Seattle, Wash.) will be participating in the 2018 New England Women’s Volleyball Association (NEWVA) Senior Classic All Star Game on December 2nd at Eastern Nazarene College. The match is set to begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Lahue Physical Education Center.

Clark University senior captain, Ana Patricia Mercado (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) earned a spot on the NEWMAC All-Conference Second Team this season.
WESTWOOD, Mass. - Clark University seniors Rayme Quiban (Seattle, Wash.) and Kacey Legare (Chicopee, Mass.) were named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) 2018 Volleyball Academic All-Conference Team as announced by the conference office on Thursday. A total of 45 student-athletes were honored.
The Clark University volleyball team swept the Pioneers of Smith College in New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action on Saturday afternoon (25-20, 25-12, 25-10). Prior to the game Clark recognized five seniors playing in their final career game: Ana Patricia Mercado (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico), Rayme Quiban (Seattle, Wash.), Justine Bohl (Amherst, Mass.), Rachel Webb (Celina, Texas), and Kacey Legare (Chicopee, Mass.).
