Women's Cross Country Finishes 28th in Large Field

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Clark cross country teams hit the road to North Dartmouth, Mass where they competed against a field of teams representing all divisions at the Umass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational. 

The Clark women finished twenty-eighth in a thirty-seven team field. The Cougars finished with 817 points for the meet, besting Division II Bentley and Division III Johnson and Wales, among others. Holy Cross won the meet with 83 points, followed by Mount Holyoke and WPI.

Individually, it was another excellent race for senior Nicolina Braccio (Nashua, N.H.), who completed the 5k course in 21:21.41, cracking the top 150 of the 263 runners.

The Clark men finished thirty-fourth overall, with a score of 908 points. WPI came in first with a score of 61 points, and Umass Lowell was a distant second with 93 points. 

Individually, sophomores Ryan Ewanyk (East Northport, N.Y.) and Cameron Keenan (South Glastonbury, Conn) finished 178 and 179. They came in with times 30:07.74 and 30:11.60 respectively.
