HARTFORD, Conn. – The Clark University rowing team opened their 2022-23 campaign at the Women's Open 8+ event on Sunday at the Head of the Riverfront event.

How it Happened

• Clark's V8 of senior Apple Gould-Schultz, graduate student Madison Hincher, senior Josephine Fitzgerald, graduate student Cate Brown, senior Charlotte Bedford, senior Rose Delogu, senior Emma McLellan, junior Mia Franks, and sophomore Anna Tinklenberg placed eighth overall with a time of 13:37.33, which was just behind Tufts' V8 and ahead of Holy Cross and Bowdoin.
• The Cougars second V8 of sophomore Mira Mills, senior Megan Hill, junior Gwyn Sonneveldt, senior Tessa Allan, junior Sydney Gruneiro, junior Robbie Southall, first-year Morgan McKeen, first-year Anna Cavanagh, and sophomore Brianna Bodner posted a time of 15:05.73, which placed 27th overall.

The Cougars will return to the water on Saturday, October 15 when they compete at the Head of the Snake on Lake Quinsigamond.
