BOSTON, Mass. – The Clark University rowing team competed in the legendary Head of the Charles event on Sunday afternoon from the Charles River in Boston for the second year in a row and saw their two boats place 13th and 34th overall.

How it Happened

• Clark's V8 of senior Apple Gould-Schultz, graduate student Madison Hincher, graduate student Cate Brown, senior Josephine Fitzgerald, senior Charlotte Bedford, senior Rose Delogu, senior Emma McLellan, junior Mia Franks, and sophomore Anna Tinklenberg started in bow nine and finished 13th overall with a time of 17:16.490.
• That finish was just behind Tufts and Wesleyan and ahead of Bryn Mawr, Hamilton, and Middlebury.
• Clark's 2V8 of junior Julia Kennedy, senior Megan Hill, junior Gwyn Sonneveldt, senior Tessa Allan, junior Sydney Gruneiro, junior Matt O'Connell-Vale, graduate student Lily Bufalino, junior Robbie Southall, and sophomore Brianna Bodner posted a time of 18:43.803, which was ahead of Connecticut College and UC Santa Barbara's A boats after staring in bow 32.

The Cougars will close out their fall with a regatta at the Wormtown Chase on Saturday from Lake Quinsigamond.
