WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University rowing team opened the 2023 portion of their schedule on Saturday morning from Lake Quinsigamond at the Head of the Snake event.

How it Happened

• Clark's novice eight of Aubrey Saben, Jordan Cambre, Toni Babson, Lindsey Wilder, Giovanna Iosso, Abigale Luetjen, Hannah Crook, Victoria Weirich-Freiberg, and Carmella Martone placed second overall, just behind Williams and ahead of Trinity and WPI with a mark of 17:23.133.
• The scarlet and white's V8, which consists of Apple Gould-Schultz, Katie Woods, Emma McLellan, Gwyn Sonneveldt, Margaret Mathews, Anna Tinklenberg, Robbie Southall, Anna Cavanagh, and Charlotte Leavitt placed eighth overall in their first event of the year with a time of 15:45.38, which topped Colby and Vassar's V8's.
• The Cougars 2V8 of Mira Mills, Julia Kaiser, Lucy Powdermaker, Sydney Gruneiro, Isabel Gustavsson, Anne Culhane-Williams, Amelia Clark, Sophie Levengood, and Baysa Silverman finished 19th overall with a mark of 17:49.968.

The scarlet and white will compete in the legendary Head of the Charles event from the Charles River on Sunday, October 22.
