SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Clark University rowing team saw their V8 boat earn a victory in the Women's Grace Rett Memorial Collegiate Varsity Final and the 2V8 finish second on Sunday from the San Diego Crew Classic.

How it Happened

• Clark's V8 of senior Apple Gould-Schultz, graduate student Madison Hincher, graduate student Cate Brown, senior Josephine Fitzgerald, senior Charlotte Bedford, senior Rose Delogu, senior Emma McLellan, junior Mia Franks, and sophomore Anna Tinklenberg won the Final with a time of 7:23.166.
• The V8 was able to defeat Trinity's "A" boat, Purdue, UC Santa Barbara, Trinity's "B", and UC Davis.
• The 2V8 of sophomore Mira Mills, sophomore Morgan McKeen, junior Robbie Southall, sophomore Brianna Bodner, senior Megan Hill, sophomore Katie Woods, junior Gwyn Sonneveldt, sophomore Lily Chappell, and first-year Anna Cavanagh finished second in their final with a time of 7:53.249, which placed them just behind Colorado.

What's Next

Clark will be back in action on Saturday when they compete in a regatta from Lake Quinsigamond against Colby, Smith, Wesleyan, WPI, Conn. College, and Hamilton.
