WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University rowing team competed in their first home rowing meet of the spring season on Saturday morning from Lake Quinsigamond.

How it Happened

• Clark's V8 of senior Apple Gould-Schultz, graduate student Cate Brown, graduate student Madison Hincher, senior Josephine Fitzgerald, senior Charlotte Bedford, senior Rose Delogu, senior Emma McLellan, junior Mia Franks, and sophomore Anna Tinklenberg opened the day with a first-place finish in their heat and recorded the fastest overall time of the day with a time of 6:50.53.
• In the V8's heat, they topped Hamilton by .78 seconds and Connecticut College finished third.
• In the final, the V8 placed fifth with a time of 7:08.86.
• The 2V8 of first-year Eleanor Workman, sophomore Morgan McKeen, junior Robbie Southall, sophomore Brianna Bodner, senior Megan Hill, sophomore Katie Woods, junior Gwyn Sonneveldt, sophomore Lily Chappell, and first-year Anna Cavanagh finished second in their heat with a time of 7:30.61 and later clocked a time of 7:33.7 in the final.
• The 3V8 consisted of sophomore Mira Mills, graduate student Madeline Regenye, senior Tessa Allan, graduate student Lily Bufalino, first-year Amelia Clark, sophomore Hawa Zuo, first-year Margaret Mathews, junior Anne Culhane-Williams, and sophomore Isabel Gustavsson finished third in their event with a mark of 8:19.7.

The Cougars will return to the water on Saturday with a meet against Conn. College, Simmons, Rochester, Williams, WPI, Mount Holyoke, and Washington College from Lake Quinsigamond.
