CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 4 Clark men's tennis team (12-6) traveled to No. 1 MIT (17-3) for their first NEWMAC Semifinals since the 2014-15 season and fell 5-0 to the Engineers on Saturday afternoon from the DuPont Tennis Courts.

How it Happened
Doubles: MIT 3, Clark 0

• Sophomore Edward Shepherd-Johnson and first-year Aris Kirkorian won four games in number one doubles, but fell to Papacica and Gallagher.
• In number two doubles, senior Tanner Honnef and junior Ryan Hovey competed against Li and Chakladar and won four games before losing the match 8-4.
• Sophomore Graham Russo and first-year Adham Seraj took on Sun and Kahler in number three play, but dropped the match 8-2.

Singles: MIT 2, Clark 0

• In number five singles, Hovey won a pair of games in the first set before falling 6-2, 6-0 to Marathe.
• Seraj took a game in the first set, but lost his match 6-1, 6-0 to Choudhary in number six singles.
• Shepherd-Johnson (No. 1) 1-6, 3-2, Kirkorian (No. 2) 3-6, Honnef (No. 3) 0-6, 0-5, Russo (No. 4) 1-6, 1-2 were also competing before the match ended.
