2025 Clark Athletics Cougar Challenge Shatters Records, Raising Over $330,000

WORCESTER, Mass. - Clark University celebrated another record-breaking Cougar Challenge, raising $331,835 from 1,825 donors, exceeding its $225,000 goal by 47%.

"I continue to be humbled by everyone's willingness to get involved and their competitive drive to push their team over the top," said Director of Athletics and Recreation Trish Cronin. "The Cougar Challenge wouldn't be possible without the generous support from alumni, family, friends, and students. Each gift enriches the experience for our student-athletes in profound ways."

Funds support Clark's 17 varsity athletic programs through equipment upgrades, training, and travel. Every dollar helped unlock over $170,000 in matching funds, amplifying the community's impact.

Donors included alumni (29%), parents (27%), students (12%), faculty/staff (5%), and friends (34%).

Since its launch in 2019, the Cougar Challenge has raised over $1.7 million in total for Clark Athletics, directly benefiting hundreds of student-athletes and helping elevate the department.
