What: The scarlet and white (2-0) opened their 2025-26 campaign with a pair of wins over Anna Maria and WPI to earn their third straight Worcester City Championship. Junior
Kailey Rios was named the MVP of the Worcester City Championship after averaging 13.5 points across the two games, including a team-high 16 points in the victory over WPI. Sophomore
Cyriah Coleman also was named to the All-Tournament Team as she averaged 17.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 6.0 assists. Junior
Catherine Antwi also averaged in double-figures with 12.0 points and connected on six three-pointers. First-year
Leilani Benson averaged a team-high 8.0 rebounds and added 6.0 points. Fitchburg State (1-0) opened their year with a 54-38 win over Wentworth on Saturday. Shanell Smith-Akpan led the Falcons with a double-double as she scored 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Kaelynn Tanner (13) and Mary Keohane (11) also reached double-figures. Curry (0-1) opened their season with a loss to Babson. Lauren Dunn led the Colonels with 17 points and grabbed three rebounds. Kasey Reeves added seven points.

What: The Cougars (1-0) opened their 2025-26 season with a 74-67 road victory at Roger Williams. Junior
Quentin Pridgen led the Cougars with a near double-double as he scored a team-high 21 points and pulled down nine rebounds. Senior
Reid Neumann also reached double-figures with 17 points and connected on five three-pointers. First-year
Elijah Small grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds and scored eight points in his collegiate debut. Sophomore
Boluwasefe John added nine points and eight rebounds. No. 25 St. Joe's (1-1) opened their season with a 91-80 win over Worcester State and an 84-83 loss to UMass Dartmouth. Roel Figueroa led the Blue Jays with an average of 18.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Lence Altenor (17.5) and Friedrich Feldrappe (16.0) also average in double-figures for the Blue Jays. Albertus Magnus (0-1) opened their season with a 71-64 loss to Swarthmore. Ta'zhon Daniels led the Falcons with 15 points and five assists. Ray Ford Jr. also reached double-figures with 11 points and added three rebounds. Isaiah Earl nearly tallied a double-double with eight points and nine rebounds. The College at Old Westbury (0-2) opened their season with losses to NYU and St. Joe's (Me.). Jermaine King Jr. led the team with an average of 14.0 points. Christian Thomas (10.5), Joel Ofori (10.0) and Imole Akinwale (10.0) also averaged in double-figures. Westfield State (0-0) will open their season on Friday night. The Owls won the MASCAC Championship a season ago and reached the NCAA Tournament where they fell to Randolph-Macon. Westfield State averaged 87.1 points per game and shot 45.0 percent from the floor. Kenneth Rogers Jr. (18.5), Lid Moreland (17.3), and Angel Price-Espada (14.7) averaged in double-figures.
