WORCESTER, Mass. – Clark University Director of Athletics and Recreation Trish Cronin is pleased to announce the hiring of David Bailey as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.

Bailey joins Clark University after serving as Athletic Trainer at Uxbridge High School, where he provided comprehensive care for a wide range of sports and coordinated concussion management, safety trainings, and injury documentation. Previously, Bailey spent nearly three years at Dean College, where he held dual roles as an Athletic Trainer and Athletic Facility Coordinator. In addition to overseeing care for NCAA athletic teams, he contributed to long-term venue development projects and managed athletic training operations and budgeting.
His experience extends to the Cape Cod Baseball League where he served as Franchise Athletic Trainer in 2022 for the Wareham Gatemen and Director of COVID-19 Operations for the Bourne Braves in 2021. He has also been an academic teacher through his role as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Biology at Dean College.
Bailey earned his Master of Science in Sport Management from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Temple University, where he gained clinical experience with both NCAA Division I and III athletic programs.
Bailey is certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) and holds licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He also maintains certifications in CPR/AED, Concussion in Sports (NFHS), and is a member of both the Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association and NATA.
