Samuel Linkous (6) and Jack Putnam (5) lead the team in saves.

Women's Tennis
When: Tuesday, September 16 vs. RIC at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 20 vs. Simmons at 12:00 p.m.
What: The Cougars (2-1) opened their 2025-26 season with wins over UMass Dartmouth and Lesley and a loss to Roger Williams. Junior

Simmons (4-2) is paced by Emilie Lapointe who has won four singles contests. Amoli Vad has recorded three singles wins. Lapointe and Masha Shutts have recorded two doubles wins.

Erin Condon and Emma Jacob have added a goal and an assist each. Ella Gumienny has recorded 27 saves in net. WPI (3-2-1) is led by Abigail Johnson and Reese Pszenny who have each tallied two goals and an assist. Maeve Steckley has recorded three assists and a goal. In net, Ayla Verheul has stopped four shots and started all six games. Williams (3-1-0) is led by Maya Lloyd who has tallied three goals. Ansley Burns has recorded two goals. Margaret Huelin has tallied 18 saves and earned three wins.

What: The scarlet and white (0-5) are slated to close out a six-game road trip with a contest at Hartford. Sophomore

Field Hockey
When: Wednesday, September 17 at Simmons at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, September 20 vs. WPI at 2:00 p.m.
What: The scarlet and white (5-0) pushed their win streak to five games with a pair of wins last week, topping Gordon and UMass Dartmouth. Clark has averaged 4.20 goals per contest and have only allowed one goal. Senior
Alison Kopec was just named NEWMAC Offensive Athlete of the Week as announced earlier today and has scored five goals and dished out three assists this year. Fellow senior
Jenna Beauchain has also added five goals, including four penalty stroke goals. Senior
Elizabeth Cacciapaglia has netted three goals and dished out a pair of assists. First-year
Sedona Lee has also added three goals. Senior
Loren Root has recorded 21 saves and earned five wins. Simmons (0-4) is led by Avery Allaire who has netted the lone Shark goal of the year. Hailey Brisson dished out an assist on the Allaire goal. Trinity Williamson (30) and Haley Bright (12) lead the team in saves. WPI (3-2) is led by Lauren Meinhold who has netted two goals and dished out two assists. Emma Barton and Leah Uglevich have also added two goals. Myles Lakin has tallied 47 saves and won three games in net.

When: Men's Cross Country: Saturday, September 20 at UMass Dartmouth Invitational at 11:20 a.m., Women's Cross Country at UMass Dartmouth Invitational at 12:00 p.m.
What: The Cougars have competed in two events so far this season at the Suffolk Short Course Classic and George Suitor Invitational. Sophomore
Summit Smoker has tallied times of 16:38.67 and 17:04.80 over the first two races, including a 13th place finish at the George Suitor Invitational. Junior
Robert Burton has placed second on the team in the first two meets with marks of 17:25.83 and 18:18.80. First-year
William Stone has recorded times of 17:52.06 and 18:20.40. Junior
Nicole Steele finished first among the squad with marks of 12:41.28 and 21:33.60. Senior
