Men's Soccer
When: Monday, September 15 vs. Nichols at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, September 20 vs. Coast Guard at 1:00 p.m.
What: Clark (2-1-0) played their home opener last week against RIC and are set to play two home games this week. The Cougars are led by senior Ben Siegel and first-year Shahmeer Waseem who have each netted goals. Junior Myles Nelson-Atkins and senior Luke Sheldon have dished out assists. Senior Diego Marin and junior Jaime Pedraza have each recorded shutouts in net. Nichols (0-3-2) is led by Avery Morse and William Pugliese-Savage lead the Bison with three goals each. Anthony Grguric (18) and Derek Axon (9) lead the squad in saves. Coast Guard (2-2-1) is led by Aki Freeman who has netted a pair of goals. Jake Fish has scored a goal and dished out an assist. Samuel Linkous (6) and Jack Putnam (5) lead the team in saves.
 
Women's Tennis
When: Tuesday, September 16 vs. RIC at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 20 vs. Simmons at 12:00 p.m.
What: The Cougars (2-1) opened their 2025-26 season with wins over UMass Dartmouth and Lesley and a loss to Roger Williams. Junior Olivia Shipley and senior Merielle Kane won a pair of games in singles, while sophomore Chau Quach, first-year Cleo Trudeau, sophomore Elena Zhakov, sophomore Amanda Keith, and junior Varvara Maltseva also tallied singles victories. Senior Crisi Patel, Shipley, Kane, and Keith also picked up two doubles wins. RIC (2-0) is led by Erica Botelho, Arianna De Thomas, Li hsiu Hou, and Faith Owren who have won two singles and doubles bouts. Simmons (4-2) is paced by Emilie Lapointe who has won four singles contests. Amoli Vad has recorded three singles wins. Lapointe and Masha Shutts have recorded two doubles wins.
 
Women's Soccer
When: Tuesday, September 16 vs. Worcester State at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, September 20 vs. WPI at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, September 21 vs. Williams at 1:00 p.m.  
What: The Cougars (2-1-1) are slated to play a pair of non-conference games and open NEWMAC play. Sophomores Georgia Louis and Solimar Rivera lead the squad with three goals and three assists through four contests. Junior Ainsley Golini has added two goals and two assists. First-year Calabria Augustino and senior Gabriella Herivaux have added two goals and an assist. Junior Gabrielle Huryn has tallied 10 saves and two wins in net. Worcester State (4-0-0) is led by Ava Lemanski and Olivia Magierowski who have each netted a pair of goals for the Lancers. Erin Condon and Emma Jacob have added a goal and an assist each. Ella Gumienny has recorded 27 saves in net. WPI (3-2-1) is led by Abigail Johnson and Reese Pszenny who have each tallied two goals and an assist. Maeve Steckley has recorded three assists and a goal. In net, Ayla Verheul has stopped four shots and started all six games. Williams (3-1-0) is led by Maya Lloyd who has tallied three goals. Ansley Burns has recorded two goals. Margaret Huelin has tallied 18 saves and earned three wins.
 
Volleyball
When: Tuesday, September 16 at Hartford at 7:00 p.m.
What: The scarlet and white (0-5) are slated to close out a six-game road trip with a contest at Hartford. Sophomore Isabella Alcott leads the squad with 34 kills and has added six service aces. Junior Katelyn Williams has recorded 18 kills and 29 digs. Junior Harper Chinn (13) and graduate student Isabella Smith (12) have also reached double-figures in kills. Junior Julia Dopazo (42) and sophomore Hannah Harrington (28) lead the squad in assists. Chinn (49) and senior Yumeng Liu (40) lead the team in digs. Hartford (2-4) is led by Jordan Murphy who has recorded 80 kills. Jenna Murphy has added 50 kills. Kylee Connally has registered 144 assists. Kalle Legassey (70) and Lucy Dieterien (58) lead the team in digs.
 
Men's Tennis
When: Wednesday, September 17 vs. Gordon at 3:30 p.m.
What: Men's tennis (2-0) began the 2025-26 season with victories over UMass Boston and Roger Williams. Senior Edward Shepherd-Johnson, senior Graham Russo, and first-year Benjamin Liu all recorded singles wins last week. Sophomore Daniel Levin, senior Fergus Brady, sophomore Ethan Montane, and sophomore Ziad Tabbara also earned singles victories this season. In doubles, Liu and Chanda have won both matches they have played in. Russo, Brady, junior Aris Kirkorian, and Tabbara have earned wins. Gordon (0-0) competed in the North Shore Slam Invitational and saw wins from James Wellborn, Jack Makiej, Percy Martinez, Jeffrey Bodner, and Gabriel Guzman registered singles victories.
 
Field Hockey
When: Wednesday, September 17 at Simmons at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, September 20 vs. WPI at 2:00 p.m.
What: The scarlet and white (5-0) pushed their win streak to five games with a pair of wins last week, topping Gordon and UMass Dartmouth. Clark has averaged 4.20 goals per contest and have only allowed one goal. Senior Alison Kopec was just named NEWMAC Offensive Athlete of the Week as announced earlier today and has scored five goals and dished out three assists this year. Fellow senior Jenna Beauchain has also added five goals, including four penalty stroke goals. Senior Elizabeth Cacciapaglia has netted three goals and dished out a pair of assists. First-year Sedona Lee has also added three goals. Senior Loren Root has recorded 21 saves and earned five wins. Simmons (0-4) is led by Avery Allaire who has netted the lone Shark goal of the year. Hailey Brisson dished out an assist on the Allaire goal. Trinity Williamson (30) and Haley Bright (12) lead the team in saves. WPI (3-2) is led by Lauren Meinhold who has netted two goals and dished out two assists. Emma Barton and Leah Uglevich have also added two goals. Myles Lakin has tallied 47 saves and won three games in net.
 
Cross Country
When: Men's Cross Country: Saturday, September 20 at UMass Dartmouth Invitational at 11:20 a.m., Women's Cross Country at UMass Dartmouth Invitational at 12:00 p.m.
What: The Cougars have competed in two events so far this season at the Suffolk Short Course Classic and George Suitor Invitational. Sophomore Summit Smoker has tallied times of 16:38.67 and 17:04.80 over the first two races, including a 13th place finish at the George Suitor Invitational. Junior Robert Burton has placed second on the team in the first two meets with marks of 17:25.83 and 18:18.80. First-year William Stone has recorded times of 17:52.06 and 18:20.40. Junior Nicole Steele finished first among the squad with marks of 12:41.28 and 21:33.60. Senior Siobhan Connolly has tallied times of 13:01.27 and 23:15.50. Junior Mary Elena Morales has recorded 13:23.21 and 23:15.50 frames.
