Field Hockey
When: Monday, September 29 vs. Regis at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4 vs. Smith at 2:00 p.m.
What: The scarlet and white (7-2, 0-2 NEWMAC) are slated to play a pair of home games this week, opening with Regis and ending with Smith. Senior Elizabeth Cacciapaglia leads the Cougars with seven goals, four assists, and 18 points through nine games, including points in seven of nine games. Fellow senior Alison Kopec has dished out a team-leading five assists and scored five goals. Senior Jenna Beauchain and first-year Olivia Bass have each scored six goals for the scarlet and white. First-year Sedona Lee has scored five goals and dished out a pair of assists. Senior Loren Root leads the Cougars with 30 saves, seven wins, and a GAA of 0.36. Regis (3-5) is led by Ava Costello who has scored six goals and dished out a pair of assists. Anna Miele-DeFelice and Izzy Cochrane have each added three goals. Allayna Martone leads the squad with 60 saves and a pair of wins. Smith (5-4, 1-1 NEWMAC) is led by Callahan Day who has scored eight goals and dished out three assists. Maya Zager has added four goals, including a game-winner. Iseul Park has tallied 55 saves and five victories in goal.
 
Volleyball
When: Tuesday, September 30 vs. Coast Guard at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4 vs. WPI at 11:00 a.m., October 4 vs. Connecticut College at 3:00 p.m.
What: The scarlet and white (1-9, 0-2 NEWMAC) is set to play a pair of NEWMAC games this week and will conclude with Connecticut College. First-year Isabella Alcott leads the team with 86 kills and has added 46 digs. Junior Harper Chinn has registered 52 kills, 11 service aces, and 78 digs. Junior Katelyn Williams ranks third on the squad with 36 kills. Junior Julia Dopazo (110) and sophomore Hannah Harrington (65) lead the Cougars in assists. Senior Yumeng Liu has recorded a team-leading 94 digs. Sophomore Abigail Venis has tallied a team-high 18 blocks. Coast Guard (8-4, 0-2 NEWMAC) is led by Amelia Matson who has recorded 97 kills and has added 96 digs. Abby Schweitzer (85) and Sarah Somer (81) have registered over 80 kills. Ava Ahokovi has tallied a team-leading 269 assists. Laura Baameur (196) and Courtney Shire (128) lead the Bears in digs. WPI (7-6. 0-2 NEWMAC) has begun NEWMAC play with losses to MIT and Springfield. The Engineers are led by Anastasia Kelnik who has recorded 113 kills. Olivia Hutchinson (99) and Bridget Spees (97) rank second and third on the squad in kills. Preslie Jerebker (201) and Lauren Boycourt (184) lead the squad in assists. Alana Harris (152) and Victoria Escuer (138) rank first and second in digs.
 
Men's Tennis
When: Wednesday, October 1 at RIC at 3:30 p.m.   
What: Men's tennis (4-0) has opened the 2025 portion of their schedule with victories over UMass Boston, Roger Williams, Gordon, and Colby-Sawyer. In the victory over Colby-Sawyer, seniors Edward Shepherd-Johnson and Graham Russo (No. 1) and junior Aris Kirkorian and sophomore Ziad Tabbara (No. 2) recorded doubles victories to clinch the doubles point. In singles, Shepherd-Johnson (No. 1), Tabbara (No. 2), Kirkorian (No, 3), Russo (No. 4), and first-year Benjamin Liu (No. 5) all tallied wins. Shepherd-Johnson, Tabbara, and Liu have won all of their singles matches so far this season. RIC (0-0) is set to open their season on Wednesday. The Anchormen have four seniors, two juniors, two sophomores, and five first-years on the roster.
 
Men's Soccer
When: Wednesday, October 1 at Worcester State at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4 at Babson at 1:00 p.m.  
What: The Cougars (3-3-1, 0-1-1 NEWMAC) has opened NEWMAC action with a tie against Coast Guard and a loss at Wheaton. Clark is led by first-year Shahmeer Waseem who has scored two goals. Junior Carter Benoff has registered one goal and two assists. Senior Ben Siegel has added a goal and an assist. The Cougars' defense has posted four shutouts. Senior Diego Marin has tallied 22 saves and posted a GAA of 1.20. Worcester State (3-5-0) is led by Wilber Garcia who has scored a goal and dished out an assist. Five other Lancers have tallied at least one point. Tobias Schneider has stopped 47 shots and owns a GAA of 1.48. Babson (5-3-2, 1-0-0 NEWMAC) opened NEWMAC play with a victory over Springfield. Alexander Yablonovskiy leads the Beavers with four goals and dished out an assist. Will Boecher has recorded two goals and three assists. JB Montague has registered 27 saves and has a GAA of 1.09.
 
Women's Soccer
When: Wednesday, October 1 at Fitchburg State at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4 vs. Emerson at 12:00 p.m.    
What: The Cougars (3-2-3, 0-1-1 NEWMAC) are set to compete in a non-conference contest against Fitchburg State and host a conference game against Emerson. Sophomore Georgia Louis leads the scarlet and white with five goals and has dished out five assists. Fellow sophomore Solimar Rivera has added five goals and three assists. First-year Calabria Augustino has scored two goals and dished out three assists. Senior Emma Shaughnessy has netted three goals. The Cougars have recorded four shutouts on defense. Junior Gabrielle Huryn has stopped 12 shots, posted three shutouts, and owns a GAA of 1.23. Fitchburg State (1-7) is led by Adrianna Westcott who has scored three goals and dished out an assist. Emilee Larson has scored a goal and registered an assist. Madison Dawkins (40) and Mia Herron (19) lead the squad in saves. Emerson (4-2-2, 2-0-0 NEWMAC) opened conference play with wins over Wheaton and Salve Regina. Linae Bezdek leads the squad with three goals and an assist. Kaylin O'Meara has dished out a team-leading four assists and scored a goal. Hailey Forman has stopped 30 shots and earned four wins in net.
 
Rowing
When: Saturday, October 4 at Head of the Snake at 8:00 a.m.  
What: Rowing is set to open the 2025 portion of their schedule on Saturday morning from Lake Quinsigamond at the Head of the Snake. The scarlet and white have a roster that includes nine seniors, four juniors, three sophomores, and 11 first-years. Among the returners is junior Danielle Chace who was named to the All-NEWMAC Second Team a season ago. Seniors Anna Cavanagh, Anastazia Salazar, Sara Parvin, Margaret Mathews, Carmella Martone, Julia Kaiser, Amelia Clark, and Jordan Cambre also are back after competing in the majority of regattas a season ago.
