WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University rowing team competed in the 2026 NEWMAC Championships and placed fifth overall with a score of 23 on Saturday morning from Lake Quinsigamond.

Leyna Rogers were named to the All-NEWMAC Second Team. Wellesley won the NEWMAC Championship with 43 points, followed by Smith (42), Coast Guard (35), WPI (30), Mount Holyoke (22), and Simmons (15).
How it Happened
- Clark's V8 of Hadas Browmstein, Carmella Martone, Danielle Chace, Lucy Powdermaker, Leyna Rogers, Anastazia Salazar, Jordan Cambre, Julia Kaiser, and Anna Cavanagh finished fifth overall with a time of 7:20.99, which was just behind WPI and ahead of both Mount Holyoke and Simmons.
- Clark's 2V8 of Gabriella O'Brien, Grace Bramer, Cass Hayden, Valeria Munoz, Keira Langus, Izzy Freedman, Amelia Clark, Elsa Galvin, and Sara Parvin placed sixth with a mark of 8:12.47, which finished behind Mount Holyoke.

The scarlet and white will be back in action on Saturday, May 2 when they compete at the 2026 New England Rowing Championships.
