Croce is currently in his third season serving as the Associate Head Baseball Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Clark University. With a Master in Business Administration from Clark University and a Master in Education from Providence College, Nick combines his passion for sports with a strong educational foundation. His commitment to fostering student-athletes' growth is evident in his successful fundraising initiatives, budget management, and recruitment strategies, which have significantly contributed to the program's financial stability and visibility.
Before his role at Clark University, Nick made impactful contributions as the Associate Head Baseball Coach for the New Britain Bees, where he played a key role in player recruitment and game strategy development. His previous coaching experiences include serving as the Head Coach and Catching Coordinator for the Ocean State Bandits Baseball Club, where he achieved an impressive 90.91% college athletic placement rate for his athletes. Nick's coaching philosophy emphasizes not only athletic skill development but also the importance of education and character building.
In addition to his coaching career, Nick has held various leadership positions in sports management, including serving as the Interim Head Equipment Manager at Providence College. There, he oversaw all equipment logistics for varsity sports and ensured compliance with NCAA regulations. His organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities have been instrumental in enhancing the overall efficiency of athletic programs he has been a part of.
Outside of coaching, Nick is actively engaged in community outreach and mentoring young athletes, having volunteered as an assistant coach at Mount Saint Charles Academy. He holds several certifications, including a Mental Performance Mastery Certification (in progress) and CPR/First Aid. Fluent in English and with beginner-level skills in Spanish and American Sign Language, Nick is committed to fostering inclusive environments for all student-athletes. His diverse skill set and unwavering dedication make him a valuable asset to the coaching community and the athletes he inspires.
