Mackenzie Landsittel

Kenzie began her competitive swimming career at the Summit Area YMCA when she was 12 years old. She also swam for the New Providence High School Swim Team and became co-captain for the 2019-2020 season and later coached the New Providence Community Pool Summer Team for the 2021 and 2022 summer seasons. Kenzie went on to study History ('24) and swim at Clark University. 

She studied abroad in the fall semester of her junior year in Perugia, Italy and returned to finish her collegiate career as a 4-year varsity athlete and co-captain for the 2023-2024 season. For her achievements, Kenzie was recognized as Team MVP for the 2023-2024 season. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with High Honors in History and was awarded the Paul P. Vouras Social Science Award. Kenzie will be pursuing her master’s degree in history at Clark University in the Accelerated Degree Fifth-Year Program focusing on access to public history and historical houses under Professor Power-Green & Professor Marchand.

She will also be working part time at Historic New England in the curatorial department. In her free time, Kenzie enjoys watching silly movies and shows with her friends, baking, taking fun day trips around New England, and continues to enjoy swimming and is looking forward to getting back to running and hiking this fall.
