Emmett Stottlemyer

Emmett comes from a large family of competitive swimmers. He swam intermittently growing up until joining the Durango Swim Club (Durango, CO) at age 16. After becoming a finalist in multiple events at Colorado State Championships, he decided to pursue collegiate swimming. Emmett went on to study and swim for Roger Williams University (Bristol, Rhode Island) where he graduated with his Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2021.

During his tenure at RWU, Stottlemyer was a NEISDA conference medalist, pool record holder, and 4-time dean’s list honoree. Since graduating, Emmett has worked as a Project Manager for Sweeney Drywall Finishes, contributing to construction projects at sites such as Brown University, MIT, and the Boston MFA. Emmett continues to pursue his athletic ambitions, completing his first full length Ironman in the summer of 2024. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, hiking, and being outside as much as possible.
