Gregory White enters his 20th year at Clark University in 2022-23, including 13 years as the Head Athletic Trainer. Previously, he spent eight years as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Clark before having his role elevated in August 2010. 

In his current role, White oversees Sports Medicine for Clark's 17 varsity programs and over 300 student-athletes. In addition to his sports medicine responsibilities, White serves as the co-director of the Bickman Fitness Center where he oversees 25 student-workers and up to eight sports medicine aides. 

Prior to his current position, White served as the Assistant Athletic Trainer starting in January 2003. During his time at Clark, White has worked with all 17 varsity sports, designing and implementing rehabilitation and treatment of injured student-athletes, while also developing strength and conditioning programs for teams and individual student-athletes.

Prior to his Clark tenure, White spent time as a Staff Athletic Trainer for HealthSouth in Braintree, Mass., where he served as an athletic trainer for area high schools as well as with the Brockton Rox of the Independent Can-Am League.

White is certified by the National Athletic Trainer’s Association. In addition, White, who is also CPR Instructor certified and holds a Massachusetts Teacher Certification in physical education and Health/Family and Consumer Sciences, has certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist.

A 2000 graduate of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts with a degree in Biology with a concentration in athletic training, White earned a master’s degree in athletic training from California University of Pennsylvania in 2001. White resides in East Douglas with his wife Cari, their daughter Cecelia and twin sons, Cavin and Liam.
