Under his leadership, the team set numerous single-season and career records and maintained a cumulative team GPA above 3.4 for 16 consecutive semesters.
In addition to his on-field accomplishments, Colombini spearheaded initiatives in diversity, equity, and inclusion, led fundraising efforts, and created innovative team development experiences. Emerson's men's lacrosse team was honored as the Sports Performance Team of the Year four times under his leadership.
Colombini also spent time at Colby College and Wheaton College, where he served in various roles including Interim Head Coach, Defensive Coordinator, and Recruiting Coordinator. He has a long-standing reputation for fostering strong team cultures and prioritizing the mental and emotional well-being of his student-athletes.
He holds a Master of Science in Sport Leadership from Endicott College and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Ursinus College, where he was a standout goalie on the varsity lacrosse team. He currently serves on the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse National Committee and has held roles with the USILA All-American Committee and Emerson's Office of Equal Opportunity.
