Westfield, Mass. - The Clark cross country
programs turned in a pair of strong performances on Saturday at the
James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State College at
Stanley State Park.
The women's team wrapped up their action with an 11th place finish
while the men turned in a 17th place showing.
The women were paced by freshman Zoe Greenberg
(Arlington, Mass.), who finished in 30th place with a time of
21:01.31. She was followed by junior Heather
Goodale (Middletown, Conn.) and her 42nd place showing at
21:19.20.
A pair of freshmen - Erika Roth (Saco, Maine) and
Sami Vadakin (North Bennington, Vt.) - were 62nd
and 68th respectively for Clark with times of 21:57.32 and
22:11.46.
The men, meanwhile, were led by graduate student Caleb
Evanter (Marblehead, Mass.), who turned in a 22nd
place finish with a time of 27:22.40. Junior captain Bobby
Naughton (Holliston, Mass.) was next up for the Cougars
collecting an 88th place finish in 30:07.00.
