Providence, R.I. – Visiting Clark University saw its winless streak extended to seven straight following a pair of losses on Saturday at a Rhode Island College tri-match.

The Cougars dropped a 3-1 decision to the host Anchorwomen to open the day and then fell 3-0 to defending MASCAC Champion Westfield State.

Clark now stands at 4-9 overall and face a tough upcoming schedule over the next week. They return to league play on Tuesday with a home match against Mount Holyoke before venturing to square off with Connecticut College on Wednesday. They wrap up this difficult stretch with a pair of contests next Saturday against Wesleyan and Trinity in Middletown, Conn.
