Cougars Drop Regular Season Road Finale, 3-0

Danbury, Conn. — Host Western Connecticut State University rolled to a convincing 3-0 win over Clark University in non-league volleyball contest on Thursday evening at Feldman Arena.

Prior to the match, the Colonials honored seniors Kelley Collins and Michelle Hearns and each played a part in the win. Collins finished the night with a game-high 20 digs while Hearns registered four kills and two service aces.

WCSU freshman Jennifer Hogan handed out 42 assists – six shy of the school record set in 2007.

Clark was paced offensively by outside hitter Amira Tranchell (Falmouth, Mass.), who led the Cougars with nine kills while recording 15 digs.

Kortney Kelley (Barnstable, Mass.) was credited with a team-high 16 digs, while Rachel Spera (North Hollywood, Calif.) dished out 20 assists.

Clark will return to action on Saturday when they host Wellesley on Senior Day.
