Cougars 42nd At NCAA Regionals

Williamstown, Mass. – The Clark University women's cross country team wrapped up their 2014 season with a 42nd place finish at the NCAA Division III Regional Championships on Saturday afternoon at Mount Greylock High School.

Fellow New England Women's And Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) team MIT, who is ranked fourth in the current national poll took home the team crown with reigning NEWMAC Runner of the Year claiming the individual title.

Kristen Glennie (Standish, Maine) put the final touches on her outstanding inaugural campaign, crossing the finish line in 102nd place to lead the Clark contingent, completing the course layout in 24:17.9

Saraneh Fitzgerald (Norfolk, Mass.) was next to finish for the Scarlet and White, turning in a time of 26:20.1, good for 233 rd place.

Erin Glennie (Standish, Maine) ended her senior season in 264 th position, wrapping up the course in 26:53, while Lauren Dube (Windsor, Conn.) was fourth for Clark in 28:13.1 and Alex Jeannotte (Agawam, Mass.) completed the scoring five (28:14.5).
