Box Score Brunswick, Maine - Molly Brown scored a game-high 27 points to lead the Bates College women's basketball team to an 80-57 win over Clark University on day two of the Coastal Maine Classic on Wednesday at Bowdoin College.
The Bobcats end the tourney with a 1-1 mark and improve to 7-4 on the season while the Cougars finish the classic winless and fall to 3-7 on the year and have now dropped three straight and four of their last five.

When the smoke cleared, Bates was well in command at 69-42. Their lead would balloon to as many as 29 at 74-45 late in the game.

Victoria Russo (Arlington, Mass.), meanwhile, finished with a team-best 11 rebounds in just 19 minutes of action.
Clark will return to the hardwood on Saturday when they visit Emerson College in a key New England Women's And Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) matchup with the Lions.
