Boston, Mass. – Visiting Clark University shot a frigid 18 percent from the field for the game and committed 27 turnovers in dropping their fourth straight contest, this one a 61-50 decision to New England Women's And Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) rival Emerson College on Saturday afternoon.

Emerson answered back, however, responding with a 10-2 run over the next three plus minutes, capped by a Janissa Delzo jumper.

Another Lion scoring spurt – this one a 10-4 stretch put the game out of reach, giving Emerson a commanding 54-41 with less than two minutes left.

Clark actually scored more points from the free throw line (17) than they did from the field (16) in the second half after making just six field goals in the final 20 minutes – only two in the final 11 minutes.
