Worcester, Mass. – Breanna Tucker (Temecula, Calif.) punched her ticket to the NCAA Diving Regionals and host Clark University sent it seniors out with a bang, capturing a 184-89 win over Brandeis University in a women's swimming and diving dual meet on Saturday afternoon.

Taking part in their final home meet, the members of the Class of 2015 proved to be the catalysts in the victory.

It all began with Tucker, who officially qualified for the upcoming NCAA Regionals on the three-meter board with a first-place score of 287.40 and then provisionally qualified on the one-meter with another first-place effort (264.55).

Senior Natalie Omary (New York, N.Y.) had a huge afternoon for the Scarlet and White, winning three events beginning with the 100-yard breaststroke (1:13.58), then moving on to the 200-yard breaststroke (2:43.82) and then finally the 100-yard butterfly (1:05.26).

Classmate Liz Barker (Augusta, Maine) took top honors in two events of her own, winning the 100-yard backstroke (105.48) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:24.93).

Another senior – captain Lydia Berry (Kennebunk, Maine) claimed victory in the 500-yard freestyle, wrapping up in 5:37.34 and then was second in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:34.23).

The foursome of Barker, Omary, Karina Urquhart (Sanford, Maine) and Kelsey Clary (Cambridge, Mass.) teamed up to take the crown in the 200-yard medley relay (1:58.36).

Urquhart (200-yard butterfly), Clary (50-yard freestyle) each also won individual events and Melissa Orzechowski (Windsor, Conn.) won two events (200-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle) as well.

The Cougars will return to the pool on Friday when they take part in the Wheaton College Invite.
