New London, Conn. – Both Marina Ramos and Savannah Sanford eclipsed huge career milestones and Clark University posted a huge non-conference road win with a 3-1 triumph over Connecticut College on Saturday afternoon.

Ramos went over the 1,000 kill plateau with her match-high 21 this afternoon, while Sanford went over the 1,000 dig mark, giving the Cougars three players on this team alone who have gone over that mark.

Mia Cattaneo (Santa Barbara, Calif.) became the school's all-time leader earlier the season and Ramos – who went over 1,000 digs in the win over Wellesley on Tuesday – becomes just the second player in school history to real 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs joining Sarah Haigh (1999-02).

How It Happened:
Clark took the first game 25-17 before grabbing the second set, 25-21. Down 2-0, the Camels fired back racing out and rolling to a 25-13 win over the Scarlet and White to keep the match going.

The Cougars, however, would seal the match by claiming the fourth set 25-18, snapping a nine-match losing streak to Connecticut College that dated back to the 2005 season.

Inside The Numbers:
Ramos had a huge afternoon with her aforementioned 21 kills – the fourth time this season she has reached the 20+ kill mark. Meanwhile Ana Mercado (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) chipped in with nine kills of her own and Rachel Webb (Celina, Texas) handed out 46 assists to go along with nine digs.

Defensively for the Cougars, Cattaneo racked up 20 digs and Rayme Quiban (Seattle, Wash.) added 17.
