HOW IT HAPPENED

-The Cougars almost tied the game with 12:50 to play in the game as freshman Janiah Lambert (Piscataway, NJ.) took a shot that brushed the crossbar.

-Clark kept the offensive pressure on and with under two minutes to play freshman Taylor Barbieri (Glastonbury, Conn.) fired a shot that was saved by Wheaton goalkeeper Leann Wolf (Santa Monica, Calif.).

-Deneault had the last scoring opportunity of the game and took a hard shot for the Cougars with just 10 seconds left on the clock, but the shot was stopped by Wolf and the Lyons took the ultimate 1-0 victory.
