Women's Cross Country Finishes 15th at Gettysburg College Invitational

Gettysburg, Penn.--The Clark University women's cross country team placed 15th/31 at the Gettysburg College inivitational on Saturday morning. The men's cross country team finished 21st/25 in the 8K race.

The women's team was led by junior Liza French (Middleborough, Mass.) who finished the 6K in 25:35.2. Senior Kristen Glennie (Standish, Maine) trailed her crossing at 24:59.5. Sophomore Nicolina Braccio (NAshua, N.H.) rounded out the top three for Clark with a time of 25:14.5.

Senior Alex Hull (Mount Laurel, N.J.) led the men's team finishing the 10K in 28:49.3. Ryan Van Dine (Bolton, Conn.) crossed the finish line in a time of 29:26.4 and Cameron Mitchell (Medford, Mass.) rounded out the top three for Clark in a time of 30:05.0.

The Cougars will compete in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) championships on Sunday, October 29th at Franklin Park in Dorchester, Mass. The women race at 11:00 a.m. and the men race at 12:00 p.m.
