Box Score WORCESTER, Mass.- Clark (10-5, 6-2 NEWMAC) came out victorious against Wheaton (7-6-3, 3-4-2 NEWMAC) on Saturday. After going down 1-0 early, the Cougars ambushed the Lyons with offense late in the first half to take a commanding lead that they would never relinquish.

- Medeiros took the first shot on goal for Clark in the 5th minute.
- Wheaton hopped out to an early lead on a goal by Claire Donfield.
- 20 minutes later the Cougars tied the game up on strike from sophomore Imani Salazar. First-year Isabel Echeverry assisted on the play.
- The Cougars took the lead late in the first half on a goal by first-year Cassandra Trevino.
- Trevino scored her second goal of the day for Clark early in the second on a rocket past the Wheaton keeper. Salazar picked up an assist.
- Late in the game, Medeiros had another shot on goal for the scarlet and white.
