Jamie Joseph to win 3-2 on Wednesday night from Brock-Affleck Field. The win marked the first time the Cougars have bested Springfield since 1999.

Cassandra Trevino also came up big with a goal, while graduate student
Sarah Berube had two assists.
Coach Smith's Thoughts
"What a battle tonight," said head coach Brienne Smith following the win. "Literally had to fight for every ball. I think it says a lot about our team that we were able to bounce back after going down a goal. They never stopped working and willed their way back in. The finish in OT was spectacular. Sarah put it exactly where she needed to and Jamie always finds a way. I'm beyond proud of tonight's effort!"
How it Happened
- Clark senior goalie Morgan Small recorded her first save of the game in the 5th minute.
- A minute later graduate student Deanna D'Innocenzo fired a shot on goal for the Cougars, though Pride keeper Amelia Harper made the stop.
- Trevino put the Cougars on the board when she punched home a shot in the 12th minute.
- A minute later the Pride evened the score on a goal by Kellie Smith, assisted by Karly Suppicich.
- The Pride stretched their lead out to 2-1 on Smith's second goal of the game. Cassidy Bailey and Jen Walker assisted on the play.
- A header by Joseph nearly knotted the score but narrowly missed the goal, clanging off the crossbar instead.
- Small made a series of saves early in the second half.
- In the 70th minute, Joseph tied the game up at two-all on a shot assisted by Berube.
- In the 98th minute during overtime, Joseph put the game on ice on a shot assisted by graduate student Sarah Berube.
