Carey and Krasnow Record Top Five Finishes at Endicott Invitational

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Clark University women's cross country team began its 2021 season on Saturday by running at the Endicott Invitational and placed fifth overall in the 5k event.

How it Happened

  • First-year Lily Carey made her collegiate debut and posted a PR as well as a fourth-place finish with a mark of 21:07 to lead Clark.
  • Fellow first-year Ruby Krasnow impressed as she finished fifth overall while setting a PR with a 21:14 time.
  • Senior Kathryn Rivard-Lentz finished third on the team and 38th overall with a time of 24:53.
  • First-year Rosa Newshore set a PR and placed 44th overall with a mark of 25:39.
  • Sophomore Sophia Oomen-Lochtefeld finished fifth on the Cougars with a time of 26:18, which was 48th overall.
  • Junior Fiona Scharff (28:12) and sophomore Jayne Robert-Adams (30:17) rounded out the Cougars top seven.

What's Next

Clark will be back in action on Saturday, September 18 when they compete at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational.
