MIDDLETOWN, R.I. – The Clark University field hockey team (0-4) dropped a non-conference match against Salve Regina (4-0) by a 4-1 margin on Saturday afternoon from Gaudet Field.

How it Happened

• Senior Grace Sawyer matched her season-high with 15 saves on 19 shots faced on goal, which was good for a season-best save percentage of .789.
• Senior Erin Hynes netted the Cougar goal in the fourth quarter of the match, the goal was her first of the season and her career.
• Junior Abbe Cravinho led the team with three shots on goal.
• Sophomore Greer McCarty put two shots on goal with senior Kimberlie Asseng and sophomore Rachael Romain also putting a shot on target.
• Clark attempted 10 total shots in the game and put seven total shots on goal.
• The Cougars also earned 11 penalty corners in the match.

What's Next

The Cougars will begin a four-game homestand on Tuesday when they welcome Anna Maria to Granger Field beginning at 7:00 p.m.
