BABSON PARK, Mass. – The Clark University volleyball team (9-8, 3-2 NEWMAC) traveled to Babson (15-1, 6-0 NEWMAC) for a conference match, and also played Gordon (7-8), but fell to both teams on Saturday from Staake Gymnasium.

Babson 3, Clark 0

• The Cougars fell 25-19 in the first set, 25-13 in the second set, and 25-10 in the third set.
• Clark recorded 14 kills, dished out 13 assists, and registered 37 digs.
• Senior Claudia Rivera led the team with four kills.
• Juniors Victoria Pastor, Sheyenne Williams, and Camille Flurry each recorded three kills.
• Graduate student Margarita Perez Maza dished out 11 assists.
• Graduate student Marimo Oka registered 11 digs.

Gordon, 3, Clark 1

• Clark won the first set 25-22, fell 25-23 in the second set, fell 25-22 in the third set, and 25-21 in the final set.
• The Cougars registered 38 kills, dished out 35 assists, and recorded 41 digs.
• Rivera led the team with 13 kills and three service aces.
• Flurry added 11 kills and six blocks.
• Pastor tallied eight kills and five digs.
• Perez Maza recorded 26 assists.
• Oka posted 14 digs.

The Cougars will return to the court on Tuesday night with a home NEWMAC contest against Springfield beginning at 7:00 p.m.
