Box Score CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Clark University volleyball team (10-10, 3-4 NEWMAC) traveled to No. 19 MIT (15-5, 7-0 NEWMAC) for a conference contest and fell in straight sets to the Engineers on Tuesday night from the Rockwell Cage.
Clark fell 25-13 in the first set, 25-14 in the second set, and 25-14 in the final set.
How it Happened
- MIT took an 11-6 lead in the first set despite kills from senior Cameron Gill and junior Camille Flurry and pushed the lead to 16-6.
- Senior Claudia Rivera and Gill recorded two more kills before the end of the set and junior Sheyenne Williams registered a service ace as Clark fell 25-13 in the first set.
- The Cougars trailed 12-9 in the second set despite two kills from Williams and a kill from junior Victoria Pastor and the Engineers pushed their advantage to 17-10 with the MIT run ended by a junior Sofia Scherrer del Llano.
- After MIT came away with a 25-14 win in the second set and the Engineers took a 10-7 lead in the third set despite two kills from both Pastor and Flurry.
- Pastor recorded two more kills down the stretch and Williams recorded another service ace as the Engineers came away with a 25-14 win in the final set.

- Clark recorded 20 kills, dished out 20 assists, and registered 31 digs.
- Pastor and Flurry tied for the team with five kills.
- Gill and Williams each added three kills.
- Perez Maza dished out 10 assists and Torres registered seven assists.
