Box Score WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University women's lacrosse team (2-11, 0-8 NEWMAC) hosted its senior day against MIT (10-4, 7-1 NEWMAC), but fell 24-3 to the Engineers on Saturday night from Granger Field.
Prior to the game, graduate student Erica Pellegrino and seniors Hailey Parsons, Enis Perez, Sophie Phelan, and Grace Sawyer were recognized for their contributions to Clark women's lacrosse.
How it Happened
- Junior Kiley Simmons attempted Clark's first shot of the game with 10:02 to go in the first quarter, but the Engineers recorded a save on the play.
- Fellow junior Elizabeth Liakos also fired a shot on goal in the first quarter and Sawyer recorded a save as MIT led 8-0 after one period of play.
- Liakos and sophomore Claudia Oakleaf each attempted shots on goal in the second quarter and Sawyer registered two saves in the frame.
- The Cougars got on the board with 8:13 remaining in the third quarter when first-year Mary Greene found a cutting Simmons, who found the back of the net.
- First-years Meghan Fogarty and Aubrey Conners scored Clark's final two goals of the evening in the fourth quarter.

- Simmons, Fogarty, and Conners netted the three Clark goals with Greene picking up an assist on the Simmons goal.
- Sawyer recorded seven saves.
