Box Score 2 NEWPORT, R.I. – The Clark University baseball team's (16-18) ended its season with a pair of losses to Salve Regina (24-9-2) on Tuesday afternoon from Reynolds Field.
Game One: Salve Regina 13, Clark 1
- Sophomore Andres Hulfachor entered the game in the third inning on the mound and tossed 1.2 scoreless innings as the Cougars were behind 10-0.
- First-year C.J. Johnson registered Clark's first hit of the game in the fifth inning with a double down the right field line and sophomore Anthony LoCasto drew a walk to get runners on first and third.
- Sophomore Billy Sullivan drove in Clark's run in the fifth with a single up the middle that scored Johnson.
- Junior Ethan Belt and sophomore Samuel Farrell reached base in the top of the sixth and junior Connor Rulnick singled in the seventh as Clark fell to the Seahawks.
Game Two: Salve Regina 12, Clark 2
- First-year Carter Doran was the Cougars first base-runner of the game when he drew a walk in the top of the first.
- Graduate student Trevor Ham recorded Clark's first hit of game two to right center, but was left on base.
- The Cougars got on the board with an RBI single from junior Ryan Caulfield that plated first-year Tyler Jones and Clark also scored on a single to left field from graduate student Chris Radovic that scored Doran as Clark trailed 8-2.
