Box Score WORCESTER, Mass. – Clark women's soccer's (4-4) offense netted three goals in a 3-0 win over Salve Regina (4-5-1) on Wednesday night from Granger Field.
How it Happened
- Graduate student Jamie Joseph fired a shot on goal in the seventh minute that was saved and sophomore Anabella White registered her first save of the contest in the 18th minute on a shot from Meghan Moniz.
- The Cougars' offense continued to apply pressure on the Seahawks backline as junior Emily Rooney, Joseph, and graduate student Mia Advocate each put shots on target, with Joseph putting three headers on targets off corners from senior Emma Tziachris, but Raegan Moffatt recorded saves on all of them.
- Clark took a 1-0 lead in the 33rd minute as Joseph broke up the left side of the pitch and passed it over to Rooney and Rooney put the ball in the back of the net.
- Sophomore Cassandra Trevino, senior Siobhan Lounsbury, and sophomore Isabella Ramirez each nearly extended the lead to 2-0 before the half, but again Moffatt came away with saves.
- Clark extended the lead to 2-0 in the 58th minute as Joseph dribbled down the left side of the pitch and passed it over to Advocate, who found the back of the net.
- The Cougars continued to dominate possession and got shots from Joseph and junior Anika Floeck before Joseph added Clark's third goal of the night off a service in from the corner from sophomore Andre Mortimer to give Clark a 3-0 win.
